Double decker bus catches fire in Sale Moor
A DOUBLE decker bus caught fire in Sale Moor yesterday.
Firefighters from Sale Fire Station were called to Old Hall Road at around 4.30pm.
The crew put out the fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle with a hose reel.
The fire, which caused around 50 per cent damage to the bus’ engine, was found to have been caused by an electrical fault.
