COMMUTERS were subjected to long delays after a van caught fire on Parkway Circle, Trafford Park, this morning.
A crew from Stretford Fire Station was called to the incident at around 7.40am and found the Peugeot Partner ablaze.
The crew put out the fire with a hose reel but the van was completely destroyed.
Traffic was backed up to the nearby Carrington Spur road, leading to Junction 10 of the M60, causing motorists to experience delays of up to an hour.
Police were called to establish traffic controls, but traffic is now flowing normally.
