STAFF at Elmscot Day Nursery in Altrincham had plenty to sing about after receiving a prize at the National Day Nurseries Association’s Nursery Awards.
Elmscot was the runner-up in the Nursery of the Year – north of England category.
Representatives received their accolade from TV presenter and pop star, Toyah Willcox, on stage at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
Scores of parents wrote glowing testimonies to help Elmscot claim special recognition.
The awards, supported by Hope Education and Christie and Co and more than 200 nurseries registering and over 7,000 parents’ votes cast.
Elmscot’s manager, Justyna Ogrodniczek, said: “We are not to going to stop here - we continue to develop and improve our already outstanding practice and are already sharing our expertise and good practice within the broader early years sector, benefitting even more families.
“We would like to thank the NDNA for creating the ‘Highly Commended’ certificate for us and recognising how important excellent childcare is to us.”
