FLIXTON Girls' School's Year 8 students were given the chance to further their outward bound adventures with a five day trip to Aberdovey outdoor education centre in Wales.
The Aberdovey centre stands within its own 40 acre grounds above the picturesque fishing village of Aberdovey.
It has easy access to the mountain ranges of mid-Wales and has its own waterfront activity centre.
Additionally 36 Year 8 students attended Ogwen Cottage which benefits from beautiful, rugged surroundings which offer a slightly more challenging and adventurous course.
After returning home the students participated in an evening of celebration where they were able to showcase their achievements in style. The evening was a huge success with lots of parents attending.
