MEMBERS of an action group sep up to oppose Peel Energy’s plans for a biomass fuelled powerstation manned a protest stand in Urmston on Saturday.
The Breathe Clean Air Group handed out leaflets and collected signatures for a petition opposing the the building of an incinerator plant in Davyhulme.
The group believe the technology is not safe and would result in emissions being released into the atmosphere harmful to human health - something Peel dispute.
The group’s website can be found at www.BreatheCleanAirGroup.co.uk for more information and to sign the petition.
