A MEMORIAL oak tree was planted in John Leigh Park, Altrincham, by Cheshire Wildlife Trust (CWT) North Group in memory of Lorna Thomas.
Lorna, who was in her 90s when she died in 2011, lived in a flat overlooking the park.
She was an enthusiastic and expert naturalist, and a dedicated supporter of Cheshire Wildlife Trust. CWT North group member Margaret McCormick is pictured examining the tree, one year on.
