KENNETH ROE It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Roe, peacefully in his sleep at home, on Monday 28th December 2020. He was a devoted husband to the late Margaret, a much-loved father to Christine and husband Ian, Malcolm and wife Cheri and grandfather to Rosie and Pippa, as well as his extended Wardle family. With an encyclopedic knowledge of horticulture, classical music, transport and machinery of all types, as well as local, and WW2 history, he had a story for every occasion and will be greatly missed by his many friends especially from Stockport, Knutsford, Lymm, Timperley and Burton- in- Lonsdale. Funeral service will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Tuesday 19th January 2021. Family flowers only please, Donations in Ken's memory are for Galloways Society for the Blind which may be sent directly to B&W funerals, 6 Chapel lane, Ingleton, Carnforth LA6 3FX.
