KARINA WAITES On Tuesday 16th March sadly passed away at home surrounded by family after a nine year battle with cancer. A loving wife to the late Ernie, Mum to Amy and Robert and a much loved Nanny to Phoebe and Joshua. Karina will be greatly missed by her family and friends - especially those that knew her through her time at Petites Modes and the Ashton on Mersey Showband. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and messages of condolence. I do hope there will eventually be another plaque of Ernie’s bench in front of the Town Hall.
