CLAW Daphne Jean Greatly missed and loved by all her family and many friends. Daphne, wife, mother and Grandmother, passed away very suddenly on 30th January 2021. A memorial Service to honour and celebrate her extraordinary life will take place at the Maidstone Vinters Park Crematorium Chapel on the 9th May 2022 at 2.45pm. Her 92nd Birthday. Daphne had lived in Coxheath since 1965 with her husband Ted who passed away in 2008. A trained nurse Daphne, worked at Coxheath's old hospital, helped run the Village hall Playgroup and helped many new mums when she was a Health Visitor in Wateringbury. Daphne was 'hard wired' to help others and even after her retirement she volunteered at Maidstone Hospital and with the National Trust as a guide. She was always there to help a friend or someone in need. Outgoing and sociable she attended Coxheath Calara, the Solitaire Group and cribbage group. She loved attending the Kent Youth Orchestra concerts and for many years was part of the Mote Park disabled swimming club. If Daphne 'touched" your life, you are warmly invited to attend Daphne's Memorial Service.
