SMITH Robert Charles (Bob) of Beech Road, Sale. Son to Adeline and Frank. Bob sadly passed away peacefully at Wythenshawe Hospital on the 25th February 2022, at the age of 83 years. Bob was a true gentleman and a much loved Husband to Joan, who were together for 50 years. Brother to sister Rosemary, Brother-in-Law to Harold and Uncle to Nephew, David. Bob was also a Step Father, Grandfather, great Grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. During retirement, Bob took up a new post as a Lollypop man for many years which he very much enjoyed, very much, following many years as a mechanic and fuel tank driver. Bob's funeral service will be held at Manchester Crematorium (The Old Chapel) on Thursday 24th March at 1pm. Following the service, family and friends will celebrate Bob's life at The Boathouse, Sale Water Park, Rifle Road, M33 2LX.
