BURKE Sheila Died peacefully on 20th November 2022. Neé Davenport, born 5th August 1922, in Barn Cottage, Dunham Park, Sheila was the last surviving daughter of Piers and Edith. Circa 1953 Sheila became the Sub Post Mistress at Dunham Town Post Office, a role she held for over 30 years. Following retirement she moved to Billinghurst, West Sussex, her final address until her death. Sheila leaves a son, Christopher, two grandaughters Charlotte, Armelle and a great-grandaughter, Skye. The family would like to thank the staff at Worthing Hospital for the loving care she received the final 27 days of her life.
