THOMAS (Nee SPARKES) Lesley Elizabeth "Liz" It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Lesley or Liz as known to some. She died peacefully at home on 2nd March 2024, her son Stephen by her side, age 85. Born in Altrincham, a Culcheth Hall Old Girl, she served as a Local Government Officer for Altrincham and then Trafford all her working life. A dearly loved Mother to Stephen and Nicola, Grandma to Selyf, Cai, Louis and Caitlin, partner to the late Bob Prowse, Mother-in Law, cousin, niece and friend to many. She will be sorely missed but is now at peace. The funeral will be held at Altrincham Crematorium on 26th March at 13:30, family flowers only, donations in her name to Alzheimer's Society and Cancer Research.
