XFM Manchester is celebrating Christmas 2006 by bringing together the hottest acts in the UK to stage a star studded live event on December 8 at the Apollo.
Xfm Manchester's Winter Wonderland will be giving its proceeds to Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity and will be hosted by Xfm Manchester's breakfast DJ Paul Tonkinson. Some of the coolest acts of 2006 form the line-up, Manic Street Preachers, Badly Drawn Boy, The Rakes, Little Man Tate, Mumm-Ra, with a very special headliner still to be revealed.
Opening the event will be the winner of Xfm Manchester's Rock School, a month long search is currently on to find the best school rock bands in the UK.
SAM has a pair of tickets, courtesy of 97.7 Xfm to give away, and a runner up will receive a copy of the new Xfm album, This is Music. To win just answer this question: Which DJ is hosting Winter Wonderland?
Send your answers on a postcard to Winter Wonderland Competition, SAM, Brindley House, 25 Ashton Lane, Sale, Greater Manchester, M33 6TP. The closing date for entries is Friday November 24.
