SHADOW Children's Minister Tim Loughton visited the Partington and Carrington Children's Centre during a visit to the borough.
The Conservative MP was taken round the centre by executive councillor Ian Mullins before taking time out to visit King's Road Primary School.
Speaking after his visit, he said: "Partington and Carrington Children's Centre is one of the most buzzing and comprehensive children's centres I have visited in my position as shadow children's minister and Trafford council should be very proud of what they have achieved in one of the most deprived parts of their borough.
"In the true spirit of children's centres they have successfully brought together a whole host of childcare, healthy living, parenting, healthcare and child protection facilities together under one roof."
He added: "Kings Road primary is a truly remarkable school which is achieving well above its weight and another jewel in Trafford's multi-faceted crown."
