A CARRINGTON golf shop is swinging into action with a fundraising drive to raise money for the Genesis Appeal.
Hookers Golf Ltd, which specialises in ladies golf clothing will be holding a clearance sale at its soon to open Carrington Business Park showroom on December 2.
This is the first planned initiative by the company to raise money for the charity, which is building Europe's first purpose-built breast cancer prevention centre at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Director, Gill Hayes, said: "My friend and former work colleague Sue Lichtensteiger has been living with breast cancer since 2003 and her resilience and commitment to promoting a healthier lifestyle through appropriate exercise and diet is an inspiration.
"We are confident that we can raise a significant amount of money in the coming years through the sale of golf clothes."
The sale will be held in the main conference room at Carrington Business Park between 10.30am and 5pm.
