In the latest instalment of his weekly online column, Alty striker Colin Little discusses Grays, goalscoring and "Angry Kid".
We've been working hard in training this week because we were a bit disappointed by the Crawley result.
It wasn't too bad - we didn't get beat - but we had expected to win that game so it was disappointing when we didn't.
We played well in the second half after Lewis had scored and probably should have gone on to win it.
I didn't play well myself. I should've moved on after a decent performance against York but I only went backwards, I just couldn't get my shots off.
I'm still carrying that injury, I can still feel it when I'm playing, but I'm not about to start using that as an excuse. I want to make up for the lost time now.
When I got injured against Halifax I had a good game and scored the winner so I was devastated to be out for so long.
If I can start playing well again then the goals will take care of themselves and that can only help the team.
The one good thing in the Crawley game was Lewis' goal, it was a great strike. The lad's been buzzing ever since his call-up.
It's true that we call him angry kid because he does have a bit of a temper and whenever you say something to him he'll snap at you straight away.
I'm one of the biggest moaners out there on the pitch, I do like a good moan, but Lewis always has a go at me when I try to tell him something!
Last season he played well at times but he wasn't consistent. He's sorted that out this year and he deserves his call-up.
I know he wants to play in the league and I reckon he does have the right attributes for it. That bit of aggression will help get him where he wants to be as well.
Getting into the England team can definitely help because there will be plenty of scouts at the game. I played in a game for the Unibond League against the Conference which we won 2-0 and within two weeks I had been signed by Crewe.
So you never know, this might be just the chance Lewis needs.
The weekend's game against Grays should be a good one. It'll be the first overnight trip I've done this season so it'll be a good chance to have a bit of banter with the lads.
It won't be easy down there though. Grays have sold a couple of lads but they still look strong and play decent football.
We have been playing pretty well away from home though, we didn't get something at York but we did play well.
Last season at Grays, we had plenty of the game and deserved to win it - after they had actually fixed the floodlights!
We need to keep on picking up points and if we can play well enough, we could even get a win to make up for the two points dropped against Crawley.
