EDEN Square’s summer of activities is sure to appeal to swashbuckling youngsters.
The Urmston shopping centre is holding a Pirate Treasure Hunt on July 20, complete with pirate face painting.
That is followed by a Pirate Craft Workshop the following weekend on July 27.
Youngsters will be invited to make a variety of pirate themed crafts including hats, eye patches and treasure chests.
Then there’s a chance to meet Terry the T-Rex and attend a dinosaur craft workshop in August.
Leon Guyett, development director at Ask Developments, said: “Our annual summer events are always popular with parents and children looking for something different to do during the school
holidays, and this year will be no exception.
“We’ve organised a fun-filled calendar of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Parents will have
plenty to keep the kids occupied during the school break.”
Events that have already been held include Ranger Rob’s Petting Zoo in May and a zoo themed treasure hunt in June.
The full events calendar of events to be held:
July 20: Pirate Treasure Hunt & Face Paint
July 27: Pirate Craft Workshop
August 10: Meet Tiny the T-Rex & Dinosaur Craft Workshop
All summer activities will be free of charge and will take place on the Square between 11am and 4pm.
