In his latest internet column, Alty star Colin Little discusses injuries, goalscoring and the king of Miles Platting.
Spirits have been pretty high this week because we got a decent result at Grays.
It wasn't the win that we wanted but it was a good performance and we were good value for our point.
It's probably the closest we have come to winning away from home this year so it's a good sign but I think we did end up disappointed that we hadn't taken all three points.
Going into a game like that you'd be happy with a draw but when you're leading for that long, it's hard to stomach.
We didn't have that many chances but then again, neither did they and we played some decent stuff at times.
This season I don't think we have played quite as well as we did when we were at our best last season but we have been more consistent.
Now we have got to focus on getting back to our top level and maybe then we can start pulling away from the relegation zone.
The only problem is that our injuries haven't properly cleared up yet.
Bandy (Peter Band) and Talbs (Gary Talbot) are still out and I'm not over my injury yet either.
I wasn't able to train on Tuesday because I'm still struggling with it.
It's a bit of a worry really because it should've healed by now and it's stopping me from playing at the level I want to be at.
I'm just going to have to go for a scan next week and then take it from there. It's difficult because I want to play and help the team but I know that if I continue to play like this I'm not going to be at my best.
The fact that we've been struggling for goals doesn't make it any easier but I do think I'd be better off going away and getting 100 per cent fit rather than playing 20 games and only scoring the odd goal.
Rod (Thornley) banged in a hat-trick for Chorley on Wednesday so that's a good sign. He's probably the most natural goalscorer at this club so to get him back fully fit would be a massive boost.
Going on loan will do him the world of good. I used to come and watch Alty when I wasn't signed on here and I always thought he was a good striker.
Maybe the way we have been playing this season hasn't suited him because a lot of the strikers' work has been back to goal stuff, holding the ball up on the halfway line. But if we create chances for him, Rod will score.
We can beat Burton on Saturday, they are a good side but if we play at a high tempo and use the home advantage we can do it.
They have one of the best defences in the league and I know Tinno (Darren Tinson) really well. He's a good lad and a good defender but hopefully I'll get a goal against him - he'll never hear the end of it.
One lad who'll go into the weekend's game buzzing is Lewis (Chalmers).
He made his England debut on Wednesday and he deserves it. I heard he played up front when he came on but he better not start thinking he's a striker.
He said that the England set-up was good and that they treated them like kings, but when you come from Miles Platting that probably means they gave you a pork pie and a sausage roll.
