READER June Carty took this photo of house sparrows at Daresbury Avenue
Urmston, on July 1.
She said: "We are blessed with an abundance of house sparrows around our area and like to keep them well nourished, they go through these suet candles in a matter of days, so always having to restock.
"As house sparrows are on the decline, its great to see so many doing well."
