CADBURY'S chocolate is being recalled because it has been accidentally filled with a product that contains nuts.
Mondelez UK is recalling Cadbury Dairy Milk Little Robins because some packs contain almonds (nuts) which are not mentioned on the label.
The product has been incorrectly packed with Cadbury Dairy Milk Little Robins Daim Chocolate.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.
The recall applies to 93g bags with a best before date of March 31, 2020.
Customers have been warned by the manufacturer that the mistake might not be immediately obvious because both products are wrapped in similar foil.
Any customer who has bought the product and has an allergy to nuts should not eat it.
They should instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund or contact the Mondelez consumer care line on 0800 818181.
