Thieves stole a substantial amount of cash during a robbery at a Superdrug store on Seymour Grove, Old Trafford.
Police revealed today, Tuesday, January 15, that on Thursday, January 10, at around 12.45pm a member of staff heard the bell ringing at the back door and went to inspect it.
When he opened the door, two masked men appeared and forced their way inside, throwing the victim to the floor.
The offenders then demanded to know where the cash was kept and threatened to stab the victim, although no knife was seen.
After taking a substantial amount of cash from the safe, the victim was then assaulted, suffering a concussion and a suspected broken rib. The offenders then escaped on foot.
The first man is described as black, about 5ft 8in tall and of medium build.
He was wearing a balaclava that showed his facial features, gloves and dark clothing.
The second man is also described as of medium build, about 5ft 8in tall and wearing a balaclava, dark clothing and gloves.
