Police have released a CCTV still of a man wanted in connection with a series of burglaries in Sale.
The man has been to a home on Walton Road on numerous occasions since June 2007 purporting to be a gardener.
Each time he has taken small amounts of cash from the 78-year-old victim who lives at the address, however it is believed that he has never actually carried out any work.
The latest two incidents occurred on Monday 7 January and Tuesday 15 January.
The man is described as white, aged 40 to 50 years, 5ft 8in to 5ft 9in tall, of stocky build with a round face.
Detective Sergeant Myra Ball from Stretford CID said: "This man is preying on a vulnerable elderly lady who suffers from dementia and is often very confused.
"This is a despicable crime and I am appealing to the public to help me identify this man to make sure he is not targeting any other vulnerable people."
Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV is asked to call Stretford CID on 0161 856 7654 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
