A SALE company has pulled out all the stops to support a children's charity.
GE Fleet Services, has donated £13,000 to the Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) at Millington - in addition to £5,000 given last year.
But it is not just money that the firm provides for CAFT - in the past few months 100 volunteers from the company have given more than 400 hours of their time to work on a 60 feet long pirate play ship, which is set to be completed early this year.
CAFT provides holidays and activities for terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.
Rich Green, managing director at GE Fleet Services, explained: "We requested this additional money from GE's charitable contributions budget because we believe very strongly in the work that goes on at CAFT - and we are very pleased to see our request approved.
"CAFT does superb work for children who find themselves in difficult circumstances and many of the people who work at GE Fleet Services have a deep emotional attachment to the adventure farm and for what it sets out to achieve."
