A SHOP in Urmston is supporting a campaign to tackle plastic waste.
The 'Just One Bottle' campaign, which started on January 1, asks people to hold onto the bottles for products like washing-up liquid, and to refill them at refill shops.
Goodness Zero Waste on Crofts Bank Road is one of these refill shops, and owner Lucy Reynolds is convinced one small change like this can make a big difference.
An average family is estimated to be able to save 100 bottles of plastic waste per year with this small change alone.
Lucy said: "Many members of the public feel powerless against the effects of climate change and that they are not able to contribute in the fight against it.
"This campaign is about empowering individuals and showing people that together, with one small change, we can all contribute to the fight against climate change."
