The Altrincham and East Didsbury tram lines are currently suspended due to a "major power loss caused by an overhead line fault" in Trafford last night.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) have said that due to ongoing work, both lines are suspended and will likely be suspended for the rest of today, Wednesday, February 16.
Affected passengers are able to use their tickets on commercial buses and rail services and there is a limited bus replacement service in place for both lines.
TfGM have said they will provide updates throughout the day.
