THE M60 was closed in both directions at Barton Bridge for around six hours due to a lorry landing on the central reservation in strong winds.
The road closed between J10 and J11 at around 6.30am, and it reopened at around 12.30pm, according to posts on social media by Transport for Greater Manchester.

According to another, separate post by North West Motorway Police, which included a photo of the lorry, the driver has a broken wrist and cuts to the head.
The post also praised the efforts of all those involved in the response to the incident.
