A 30-FOOT tree missed a scout hut in Timperley by a matter of metres in the middle of Monday's storm.
Storm Franklin tore through Trafford, taking down trees and even tipping over a lorry on an M60 bridge.

In Timperley, on Park Road, one tree fell and blocked the road to the athletics club, also breaking a fence.
It was metres from the scout hut used by 1st Timperley, which first opened in 1968.
Fred Warburton, group scout leader, said: "Fortunately the road, which is used by hundreds of children every week, was clear at the time, or we could have been looking at fatalities."
Mr Warburton added there are to be talks with the residents of Mayfair Court on the other side of the road to ensure other trees are not a threat to the children or others.
