WHEN Manchester City take on United at Old Trafford on February 10, I hope my fellow Blues fans will roar on the team until they have no voices left.
Let's face it, they are going to need all the help they can get when they take on the Premiership champions in their backyard.
But I also hope the City fans respect the comemorations for the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster which resulted in the deaths of more than half of the legendary United team that was dubbed the Busby Babes.
As supporters of Manchester City we have a reputation for being loyal, noisy and a little bit mad, with our own, unique brand of humour. Goodness knows, you've needed a sense of humour following the Blues over the years.
I would hate anything to detract from that generally good reputation and it would be a real shame if a minority of morons spoil an occasion that is tinged with so much sadness.
After all, we lost one of our own at Munich, in the shape of former goalkeeper Frank Swift.
Anyone who tries to ruin the comemorations should be swiftly ejected from Old Trafford and their identities immediately recorded.
They should also be banned from the City of Manchester Stadium.
I don't want people like that associated with my club.
