THESE photos show the desperate state of an abandoned pub in Stretford at the heart of a bid by a collective of residents.
Save the Robin Hood are in talks with the owners to purchase the pub at the crossroads of Barton Road and Urmston Lane.
Built in the 1800s, the Robin Hood has been abandoned since 2018.

The owners want to turn it into around 20 apartments and houses, but coordinator Colette Nerini and the rest of the collective want to restore it as a pub.
If Save the Robin Hood succeed, these photos show the scale of the task on their hands.
