Residents are invited to be involved in an initiative to celebrate the region's parks.
Love Parks Week starts on Friday and supports the efforts of people to protect green spaces across the country.
To celebrate, Trafford Council has arranged a competition for residents to enter photos of their favourite parks.
It has also arranged a series of litter picks.
Cllr Stephen Adshead, executive member for environmental services, said: "We are lucky to have so many beautiful parks in Trafford and this week gives us all the perfect opportunity to celebrate them."
To enter photos into the competition, email GBSC@trafford.gov.uk with #loveparksweek in the subject line before August 8.
The winner receives a voucher worth £50.
