A girl is in hospital and three people have been arrested after a group of dogs attacked the young victim in Carrington yesterday, Sunday.
Just before 2.40pm, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers were called to an address on Ackers Lane, Carrington.
The girl had suffered injuries caused by dogs and was taken to hospital, where she is in a stable condition.
Police confirmed that three people have been arrested on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog and four dogs have been seized in total.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Shortly before 2.40pm on March 26, police were called to a report of a child who had suffered injuries caused by dogs at an address on Ackers Lane, Carrington.
"The girl was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.
"Four dogs were seized by officers and have been taken away by specialist partners.
"Three people have been arrested on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog."
