A woman has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash.
At around 4pm on Thursday (April 6) fire crews were called to reports of a crash between two cars on Barton Dock Road in Trafford Park.
Two fire engines from Stretford and Sale fire stations attended and a fire that broke out in one of the cars was put out.
Two casualties were assessed, and one woman was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At around 4pm this afternoon (Thursday, April 6), firefighters were called to reports of a crash between two cars on Barton Dock Road in Stretford.
"Two fire engines from Stretford and Sale fire stations quickly attended the scene.
“Firefighters used a hose reel and other specialist equipment to extinguish a fire in one vehicle.
"Two casualties were assessed by fire personnel with one woman taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
“Firefighters worked alongside Greater Manchester Police and the Highways Agency to make the area safe before leaving the scene at around 4.45pm.”
