The organisers of the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run released a map of road closures for the event.
The event, which includes a half marathon and a 10K, returns to the streets this weekend on Sunday.
Although the start line and the finish line are in the city centre, both the half marathon and the 10K take in parts of Old Trafford and Trafford Park.
To allow the runners to compete in safe conditions a number of roads in these areas are to be closed.
