A man attacked a police officer and two cars before a police pursuit from Timperley to Wythenshawe.
The emergency services were called to a disturbance on Mainwood Road at around 12pm on Wednesday.
According to GMP Trafford, a man attacked a police officer and two cars, including a police car.
He fled from the scene but after a police pursuit he was stopped on Simonsway, Wythenshawe.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault, attempted section 18 assault and dangerous driving. He remained in custody as of yesterday (June 8), according to GMP Trafford.
