Drivers are advised to allow additional time or to take an alternative route due to roadworks on Carrington Spur.
The roadworks in the area of the bridge on the River Mersey are set to start on Monday, July 24 and are set to last around six weeks, a timeline which takes them through to Monday, September 4.
Drivers are advised by One Trafford, the partnership between the council and its contractor Amey PLC responsible for the work, to allow additional time or to take an alternative route as a result.
This is because although there are no closures, there are traffic lights in position for the work, One Trafford said.
The roadworks are paid for by a combination of the council's Highways Capital Programme and the government's City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement.
