A flagship "state-of-the-art" bowling and gaming experience has opened at Trafford Palazzo.
Dubbed the "crown jewels of bowling", King Pins opened its lanes to the public in the popular shopping centre in Trafford Park earlier last week.
Inside the venue is a range of activities and entertainment for all ages of the family, from 15 lanes of ten pin bowling, four lanes of 'duck pin' bowling - a smaller version with lighter pins - as well as a shuffleboard, ice-free curling, batting cage, karaoke and "arcade games galore".
The new King Pins also features two independent food concessions - from PLY's iconic pizza "pros" to Asian street food favourites by Little Bao Boy - while desserts can be grabbed from the Royal Treats kiosk.
Meanwhile, the full-service bar in the venue serves a large selection of bottled and draught beers, including beer from a local Salford brewery, Seven Bro7hers, and a variety of cocktails, alcohol-free beverages and homemade slushies.
Prices for ten pin bowling starts from £8 per adult and £6 per child under the age of 15 while "duck pin" costs £6 per adult and £4 per child.
The karaoke, batting cage and ice-free curling all start from £16 and a 30-minute go on the shuffleboard can be bought for £8.
James Travis, brand manager of King Pins, said the team were "excited" to open the doors on Monday, July 17 at the Trafford Palazzo.
He said: "The venue has been in the works for a while, and we can’t wait to showcase everything we have on offer, from ten pin Bowling and arcade games to the top-tier food vendors and bar.
"We don’t call it the crown jewels of bowling for nothing.”
Mark Whittaker, executive director of property investment and management at Peel L&P, added: "King Pins is a fantastic addition to Trafford Palazzo and the team are thrilled to welcome even more customers to enjoy our entertainment offering.
"King Pins is more than just bowling, also offering shuffleboard, karaoke, an arcade, and impressive food and drink vendors, making the experience a must for anyone wanting a fun-for-all trip.
"The opening of King Pins adds an exciting opportunity for new leisure and food operators allowing for those near and far to take advantage of Trafford Palazzo's wide offering."
