Two women were arrested in connection with the supply of Class A drugs after a raid at an address in Timperley.

According to GMP Trafford the raid was at an address on Carrfield Avenue on August 2.

Two women were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, some of which were seized from the scene.

Detective Sergeant Chris Woodburn of GMP's County Lines Team said, "Acting on intelligence we believe we cut another supply chain of drugs involving serious and organised crime gangs. We are determined to continue our action to tackle this type of crime which has devastating consequences for communities, especially vulnerable people.

"I want to remind members of the public to continue to be our eyes and ears and to report anything they suspect is affecting their area."
