A beverage brand based in Dunham Massey is celebrating its success in The Great Taste Awards.
Hip Pop was awarded five stars in total when the results of the awards were announced this month.
It received one star, meaning "delicious", for each of its Blackberry and Cherry Kombucha, Ginger and Yuzu Kombucha and Gut Lovin' Lemonade, as well as two stars, meaning "outstanding", for its Tropical Peach Soda.
Emma Thackray, who established the beverage brand as "Booch & Brew" alongside Kenny Goodman, said the results of the awards were an honour. She revealed Hip Pop was shortlisted for "SME Emerging Business" at the Food and Drink Federation Awards too.
Ms Thackray said: "This is an exciting year for Hip Pop – not only have we expanded our team as well our drinks range, but we launched our Kombuchas and Sodas in one of the UK’s biggest supermarkets [Sainsbury's], making our products more accessible than ever before.
"To be recognised by Great Taste is an honour and to be shortlisted at the Food and Drink Federation Awards is the cherry on top of our most successful year to date."
