The occupants of a car were lucky to leave a crash with no injuries after it lost control on a motorway close to Manchester Airport.
NW Motorway Police shared a photo of the incident between the Airport Spur and the M56 in a post on social media on Monday.
'How?' was the commonest comment from users, who questioned the positioning of the car, seeing as the barrier was undamaged.
However this is as the barrier started a matter of metres out of shot.
NW Motorway Police said: "The occupants of this vehicle were lucky not to suffer any injuries following losing control of the vehicle on a bend heading from Manchester Airport towards the M56.
"The vehicle left the carriageway and ended up in the undergrowth."
