An investigation has been launched to find suspects who reportedly used an explosive device to try and gain access to a cash machine in Sale.
At around 2.50am on Monday, November 20, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called to reports of an attempted robbery on Hereford Street.
It is believed there were two suspects who tried to gain access to the ATM and that they used an explosive device.
The pair left the scene and headed towards Sibson Road.
Police are now appealing for information or for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
