A man has been made to pay nearly £1,000 after racially abusing a woman who was parking her car at a Tesco.
Gary Glynn, of Thirsk Avenue, Sale, was in the car park of the Tesco superstore in Sale at around 3.30pm on November 11 last year when he racially abused the woman as she tried to park her car.
The 56-year-old was charged with racially aggravated harassment and, on Wednesday, November 15, he appeared Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court, where he pleaded guilty to the racially aggravated public order offence.

Glynn was ordered to pay the victim compensation of £250 for his actions.
He was also instructed to pay a fine of £732.50, which was uplifted from £239 for racial aggravation.
This meant Glynn's total costs were £982.50.
