The Trafford Centre is introducing an onsite police team next year in an effort to improve safety and security.
In partnership with Greater Manchester Police (GMP), the new initiative will be fully funded by the Trafford Centre for the next three years.
It will provide a visible presence which will look to enhance the security of the centre and create a safer shopping experience for visitors.
The full-time team will consist of one inspector, one sergeant and six PCs, with the full team in place by January 2024.
