An appeal has gone out to find a teenage girl from the Trafford area who has gone missing.
Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for 16-year-old Melissa, whose last name has not been disclosed.
She was last seen on Chester Road, Stretford, at around 5pm yesterday, January 5.
Melissa was last seen wearing stone-coloured, loose-fit jeans with a black Gillet and a tie-dye t-shirt.
She was also wearing white trainers which could be muddy.
The 16-year-old has been described as around 5ft 10 of a slim build.
She has brown eyes and brown hair with a fringe.
Greater Manchester Police have appealed to members of the public to help them find her.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Can you help police find a missing girl from the Trafford area?
“Melissa was last seen on Chester Road, Stretford at around 5pm yesterday (5/01/2024).
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about her and want to make sure she is found safe and well.
“Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact police 0161 856 7621 and quote 3580 5/1/2024”.
