A man died after he was taken to hospital following an incident at a building site in Partington.
The emergency services were called to the building site on Hall Lane before 2pm on Monday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said a man died after he was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a concern for welfare at a building site on Hall Lane in Partington at around 1.54pm today (January 22).
"Despite the best efforts of emergency service personnel, a man sadly died later at Wythenshawe Hospital. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
