A cookie shop arriving at the Trafford Centre is the first of its kind in the North of England.
Ben's Cookies is on its way to the shopping centre in Trafford Park from next month.*
Established more than 40 years ago by chocoholic Helge Rubinstein, who named the business after her son, the cookie shop started in a corner of Oxford's Covered Market.
Its arrival at the Trafford Centre brings it to 14 branches in the UK, almost all of them in the south of the country, alongside branches across the Far East and the Middle East.
It prides itself on its preference for chocolate chunks rather than chocolate chips and on its logo, which is the work of Helge Rubinstein's friend Quentin Blake, the illustrator famous for his work with Roald Dahl.
For information go to benscookies.com or search for Ben's Cookies on social media.
*Previously it said it was opening on February 14, Valentine's Day, but now it is opening next month.
