Officers are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the next of kin of a Trafford man who died at home.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is appealing for information about 61-year-old Steven Tajti died at his address on Shrewsbury Court, Old Trafford, on Saturday.
A spokesperson for the force added: "There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
In UK law, there is no definition of next of kin, but it is understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.
Anyone with information about the next of kin of Mr Tajti is asked to contact the Police Coroner's Office in Rochdale on 0161 856 9696.
