A Sale pub is set to close its doors for around a month to allow for a six-figure investment in the site.
The Kings Ransom is set to close its doors from Monday (February 26) until the end of next month.
A spokesperson for the pub on Britannia Road, which is run by the brewery Greene King, said this is to allow for a six-figure investment in the site both externally and internally.
The Kings Ransom is rated 4/5 on Google and 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor and it is popular for features including a beer garden on the Bridgewater Canal and ample screens for sports.
A spokesperson for the pub said: "The Kings Ransom pub on Britannia Road is closing its doors on February 26 for a short period while it undertakes a six-figure investment.
"The Kings Ransom will reopen to the public in late March following a significant renovation to the pub both externally and internally."
