Stretford and Urmston MP Andrew Western appealed to children all across the area to enter his first ever Eid colouring-in competition.
The MP went to Seymour Park Primary School and wrote to other schools in the constituency to start the Eid colouring-in competition.
Previously Mr Western set up a Christmas Card competition which, last year, was won by Kamran Broun of Delamere School when the 10-year-old took top spot out of hundreds of entries. His predecessor Kate Green, now the Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester, also ran the contest throughout her tenure.
The winner of the Eid colouring-in competition will see their artwork appear in a video by the MP at the end of Ramadan next month.

Mr Western said: "Following the success of my Christmas card competition I wanted to do something to mark Eid.
"I thought that it would be nice to launch a colouring-in competition so local children can show off their art skills. I know that we have a lot of artistic children in Stretford and Urmston so I am looking forward to seeing the designs come in."
Entrants are asked to use this template (tinyurl.com/2f7k44x8) and to send their entries to andrew.western.mp@parliament.uk or Andrew Western MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. The deadline for entries is on Friday (March 22).
