Police are investigating after a man was discovered dead on the M60 motorway at rush hour.
Officers attended an area of carriageway close to Trafford Park at around 8am today (April 4).
On arrival a man was discovered dead on the M60 motorway. Police are investigating but there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Greater Manchester Police were called to the M60 at around 8am this morning (April 4) to reports of a concern for the welfare of a man. Sadly he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing at this time but there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances."
