A childminder has applied to Trafford’s planning team for permission to convert their existing home into a children’s day nursery.
If approved, the building in Walton Road, Sale will become a 40-children-per-day nursery, requiring up to nine staff when at full capacity.
The applicant, Anthony Yu, in a letter published on Trafford’s planning portal says there will be up to four parking spaces on the front driveway and an additional one at the rear.
Mr Yu also says two cars can also park at the front of the property and five at the side ‘without impacting on other houses in the area’.
“There is potential for a total of 10 to 12 parking spaces available using this property’s land and the roads, only impacting on 52 Walton Road,” he wrote.
He says a small children’s play area would be at the side of the house, directly next to Alston Avenue.
“Children will play out in a maximum number of six at a time and the use of local parks will be taken advantage of daily,” he says.
